Ingredients

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a small pot
  2. Add all spices
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes
  4. Strain into a cup
  5. Add honey if desired

Notes

This combination of spices is traditionally used in Ayurveda to:

  • Aid digestion
  • Reduce bloating
  • Calm stomach discomfort
  • Support healthy metabolism

Dosha Type

This tea is ideal for Kapha and Vata doshas and after or before a large meal to help stimulate and support digestion. Pitta should use in moderation and only during Vata and Kapha seasons.
