Ayurvedic Herbal Coffee

Directions

  1. Combine all four parts in a large, dry, dark storage container. 
  2. To make coffee, assess your desired strength:
    1. MILD: 1 tsp/cup
    2. MEDIUM: 2 tsps/cup
    3. BOLD: 3 tsps/cup
  3. You can brew this herbal coffee in any coffee maker (French Press, Drip Coffee Maker, K-Cup) as you would real coffee.

VPK-

This herbal coffee is overall tridoshic in nature, with special benefits for Kapha constitutions.

Vata – Warming roasted roots ground Vata’s airy nature, especially burdock’s earthy qualities.

Pitta – Bitter properties of dandelion and chicory cool Pitta’s fire, while the caffeine-free formula prevents aggravation.

Kapha – Particularly beneficial for Kapha with bitter and astringent tastes that stimulate sluggish digestion and counter cold, heavy tendencies.
