Directions

1. Combine all ingredients and blend until creamy, adding more water or yogurt as needed.
 
2. Adjust salt & pepper to taste. 
 
Serve with Vegetable Pakoras.

Notes

This sauce combines all six tastes – sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter & astringent – to offer a balancing digestive add-on to any savory dish. Ideal for vegetables and meat. If serving with fish, omit the yogurt and double the water. 

Dosha Type

This recipe is tridoshic, meaning it balances all three doshas. For those with more sluggish digestion (Kapha Dosha), increase black pepper.
