Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine juice and sparkling water in a clear glass.
  2. Squeezing the lime into the glass, then add the leftover rind.
  3. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or chop the mint leaves in stir in.
  4. Sip slowly & enjoy!

Notes

Blueberries are full of vitamins and antioxidants and offer a cooling and astringent effect during hot, humid summer months. It is best to enjoy this drink at room temperature and to avoid adding ice.

Dosha Type

This refreshing summer drink is ideal for pitta and kapha doshas as it is cooling, light and only slightly moist. The sparkling water will exacerbate vata dosha, producing excess air in the body and, thereby, indigestion. Vatas can enjoy this recipe by swapping sparkling water for fresh and limes for lemons. Instead of fresh mint, vatas can use fresh ginger juice.
