Strawberry Coconut Ojas Balls

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to medium-large food processor.
  2. Pulse on high for 1 minute to break up large pieces
  3. Grind on low continuously for 1 more minute or until all ingredients are well-blended and almost dough-like.
  4. Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out and roll into small balls. 
  5. Refrigerate for up to one week and enjoy as a snack or light breakfast!

Notes

If your “dough” isn’t coming together, add more coconut oil. 

Medjool dates provide natural sweetness along with fiber, potassium, and antioxidants, while walnuts deliver heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and vitamin E. 

The dried strawberries contribute vitamin C and additional antioxidants that support immune function. 

Coconut flakes and coconut oil offer medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which can provide quick energy and may support metabolism. 

The warming spices – cinnamon and cardamom – are both anti-inflammatory powerhouses that can help regulate blood sugar and support digestive health. 

The optional cacao nibs add flavonoids and magnesium while providing a rich chocolate flavor without added sugar. 

Together, these ingredients create a naturally sweet treat that’s rich in healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants while being free from refined sugars and processed ingredients.

They are cool, moist, stable and building. Best for Pitta in Pitta Season. 

Optional cacao nibs are more energizing and best if enjoying as a light breakfast or mid-day snack.
